Infrastructure Engineer

ONLANTA LLC · System Integration
◆ Achievements
  1. 01 Automated Greenbone report processing: built a Python/Flet application with a graphical interface for automatic vulnerability extraction, IP-to-hostname mapping, and final report generation. Reduced processing time from a nearly full workday to ~15 minutes per report.
  2. 02 Fixed an IndexError in the existing Greenbone Python processing script, then reworked the solution and added a GUI, fully removing the need for manual source-code editing.
  3. 03 Resolved a mass VM resource management issue in VMware Cloud Director: identified a mismatch between Compute Policy and actual VM parameters caused by the internal billing system automatically changing CPU and RAM. Incorrect resource limits prevented the customer from independently changing specs on all affected VMs. Traced the root cause and restored configuration-to-policy consistency without service downtime, returning full resource control to the customer.

◆ Responsibilities

Supporting and administering enterprise infrastructure based on VMware, oVirt/zVirt, and KVM. Working with Kubernetes clusters and workloads, Linux and Windows servers, virtual networks, datastores and virtualization clusters, backup, monitoring, and infrastructure services. Diagnosing and resolving incidents, collaborating with customers and adjacent teams, preparing technical documentation and internal guidelines.

Engineer, Tier 2

ONLANTA LLC · System Integration
◆ Achievements
  1. 01 Developed internal tools and Telegram bots in Python to automate workflows and integrate with internal services via REST API, reducing the volume of manual operations in project support.
  2. 02 Rebuilt the internal knowledge base from scratch: reviewed existing technical documentation, refreshed outdated materials, and brought instructions up to date, making it easier to find solutions and share technical knowledge between team members.
  3. 03 Trained 2 new Tier 2 engineers, transferring knowledge on internal processes, tooling, and infrastructure support practices.
  4. 04 Initiated the concept of an internal Q&A service for sharing technical knowledge between employees and building a shared expert base across projects and infrastructure.
  5. 05 Supported multiple production projects simultaneously, collaborating with customers, Service Desk, and adjacent engineering teams, and participating in diagnosing and resolving infrastructure and application issues.

Key Achievement

Greenbone report processing automation

Built a Python/Flet application with a graphical interface: automatic extraction of vulnerability data, IP-to-hostname mapping, and generation of a final report. Replaced manual PDF processing with a two-button interface.

≈ 1 workday → 15 minutes

Additionally fixed an IndexError in the existing script and reworked the solution, freeing users from manual code editing.
